First, I haven't even finished the Subaru purchase yet, but I'm going to on Monday. Our buying experience was normal for an end of the month, end of the year transaction b/c the dealership was extremely busy and our salesman was helping another customer initially. No problem, the General Manager stepped right in and took over. We were able to decide on a Subaru Outback and the rest was just outstanding customer service. BUT, we left knowing we'd been able to purchase a car and didn't realize at first I'd left my wallet behind in the Subaru we'd test driven. Several hours later, and after business hours, I realized my error and panicked b/c it was a holiday weekend. I just knew I'd left the wallet, w/ALL my bank cards, money, etc. at the dealership. I called the dealership but they were in fact closed and we decided to return anyway to check the car we'd driven and, lo and behold, the wallet was in clear view in the back seat. I thought about calling the salesman and leaving a message but we first saw someone in the parking area and to our amazement it turned out to be Mr. Donald Strider. So, while I explained my dilemma he graciously agreed to help w/o reservation...right after he confirmed my identity. :) Mr. Strider was extremely helpful and understanding which allowed me to secure my wallet and provided me w/immediate peace of mind. Now folks, that's customer service and why I'm so happy we decided to buy our Subaru from Strider's. By the way, the service department is the best in our area. Sales to service, Strider's can't be beat.

I always have a great purchasing experience at Strider Subaru. Hunter was very helpful this most recent time, and I got a great deal. It is worth the drive from Durham to get this kind of sales experience: low pressure and focused on helping the buyer find what they want.

We had car trouble with our Subaru on the way home to Ohio from the beach. We called ahead and the service department went out of their way to help get us back on the road. Trustworthy, knowledgeable and kind. Thank you Spanky!

Our car was hit by someone who didn't have the courage to tell us that they hit it. We went to the body shop at Walker Strider Buick where we bought our awesome GMC Yukon) to have the car repaired. Everyone we dealt with was extremely professional and thorough in repairing our car. It's never fun to have to get repairs on your car, but I smiled big when I saw mine because it was perfect and it had been washed head to toe and front to back! Excellent repair job. We can't tell that it's ever been hit.

For once a great car buying experience. Stephen was terrific-extremely knowledgeable about Subaru vehicles and no hard selling. Gave a fair trade in price, great price on the Outback, and did it quickly-we were in and out, from beginning to end, in 2 hours. It pays to buy from a locally owned dealership. Gordon, the Sales Manager was great as was Danny Owens. Thanks to all you guys.
